We've moved, but not far! (one block!) Brown's Barber Shop is now located just a half block north of the town square in historic Petersburg, Illinois. (Across the street from Ted's Tavern) Same hours, same phone number, same great service, and better air conditioning!
You can enjoy a traditional small-town barbershop experience here at Brown's Barber Shop. A great haircut costs only $10, the magazine reading collection is sports and outdoors oriented, and the barber shop atmosphere is casual and friendly.
Many tourists find that getting a haircut at Brown's Barber Shop is a great way to spend time while their wives are shopping at the many antique and craft stores here in Petersburg. Our community is the county seat of Menard County, and is located only 20 minutes from Springfield, Illinois. Originally surveyed by Abraham Lincoln, Petersburg (population 2,300) is rich in history and local scenic attractions. Nearby New Salem State Park surrounds the reconstructed pioneer village where Abe Lincoln started his famous career.

Zach Brown's Barber Shop is now located just north of the Petersburg square, one block north of the former location within the Grist Mill Mall. The town square is right on Illinois State Route 97, so he is still really easy to find!
